FLING: Frente de Luta pela Independência Nacional da Guiné
(Struggle Front for the National Independence of Guinea) — this
party is not listed among the candidates of either the
2004
nor the

According to
“A
Transição Democrática na Guiné-Bissau :
Um Parto Dificil” article by Carlos Cardoso in
Lusotopie 1995: 259, this party was part of the politically
heterogenous Unido coalition, created
in November 1992, along with P.C.D.,
P.D.P., and P.R.S.

The flag of FLING is shown in one of the ballot
papers reported (Bissau-28), as #4. It is a white flag with the party
emblem centered on it above dark blue extra bold sans-serif capitals
reading "FLING". The emblem shows three crop plants, set 2+1 (maize, rice?
and what?). The flag ratio is roughly 5:7 as most others’ in the
ballot papers are.
